What is PHILIPPINE ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS FEDERATION, INC. (PETEF)? 

The Philippine Electronics and Telecommunications Federation, Inc. (PETEF) is the umbrella organization of the Electronics, Telecommunications, Broadcast, Information Technology and Internet Industries as well as equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the Philippines.  It is the recognized voice of the industry and fulfills its role by actively contributing to national development.  It is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit corporation in March 12, 1969.

Mission 

“PETEF, being the Federation of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry, is committed to create an environment of unity within the industry, is the lead private sector partner of the government in the formulation of national policies, goals and objectives of the industry responsive to the country’s economic, cultural, social, and political fabric.”

Vision

 PETEF actively relates with the government in matters affecting the industry, service to its customers, and the public in general.  It  develops active linkages with other local and international organizations within its sphere of interest.  

It believes in a responsive and efficient organization that coordinates and consolidates the various interests of its members as it provides for their industry information needs.  It promotes cooperation and goodwill among its members through constructive dialogue.  It supports technological advancement and innovation in its field, foster self-sufficiency, and exhort adherence to standards. 

As the lead organization of an industry that provides for a vital aspect of the social and economic progress of the Filipino nation, PETEF is mindful of its social responsibility.  Its members shall uphold the quest for excellence, leadership, dynamism, and relevance as the Federation moves forward to unite peoples and enhance their quality of life.
